The 2017/18 fall television season is well underway and you’re probably already following a number of your favourite new and returning shows. A chunk of them are filmed right here in Vancouver including: Riverdale, Arrow and The Good Doctor. As you get your weekly episodic fix, production continues for many of the shows.
There are at least 24 TV shows scheduled for production in Hollywood North for November 2017. Some are already airing and some are set to air mid-season. This includes 16 returning favourites including a revamped Once Upon a Time, a milestone thirteenth season of Supernatural and another special run for The X-Files.
There are also 4 brand new shows underway which all shot their pilots in Vancouver earlier this year. The newbies are The Good Doctor starring Freddie Highmore (Bates Motel), Life Sentence starring Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars), Siren starring Alex Roe and The Crossing starring Steve Zahn. There are also 3 series that have relocated production to Vancouver: Colony from Los Angeles, SIX from North Carolina & California and The Exorcist from Chicago.

There is also 1 new pilot episode scheduled for production in town for Syfy network, Deadly Class, a drama based on a graphic novel series.
Some of the stars you can expect to see around town during September include: Lucy Hale, John Cho, Melissa Benoist and the entire Riverdale cast which includes: KJ Apa, Cole Sprouse, Camila Mendes, Lilli Reinhart and new addition Mark Consuelos.

Deadly Class

Based on the graphic novel of the same name by Rick Remender and Wes Craig, Deadly Class is being adapted into a drama for Syfy. The Russo brothers, Joe and Anthony, are executive producing. It’s set in the late 80’s and follows a teen recruited to an assassin school.

Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale plays Stella who is cured from terminal cancer and has to deal with all the choices she made when she was dying. Emma and Belle will each appear in one episode in season 7 to wrap up their respective storylines.
