The stealthy United States Navy SEALs are being portrayed in Vancouver for season two of History Channel’s hit military action-drama series SIX.
The “six” represents the elite special operations unit SEAL Team Six which takes on counter-terrorism missions (ie. Osama bin Laden and Captain Phillips’ rescue).

In the first season, the squad dealt with the aftermath of an Afghanistan mission and capture of their ex-Captain by Boko Haram. It was filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina and Santa Clarita, California while being mostly set in Afghanistan and Nigeria.

Production for season two was relocated to Vancouver and is scheduled to shoot until November 23rd, 2017 with a premiere for sometime in 2018. Filming for season two of SIX began in Metro Vancouver and around Pemberton in July.

Hollywood star Olivia Munn was added to the cast for the role of Gina – a CIA Operations Officer. She’s no stranger to Hollywood North having just wrapped up filming for the highly anticipated self-titled next installment of the The Predator franchise which was filmed in Vancouver.
She’s also reprising her role as Elizabeth Braddock / Psylocke in X-Men: Dark Phoenix which is currently shooting in Montreal.

Update: Olivia Munn is sticking around in Vancouver even longer as she joined the cast of Buddy Games by WWE Studio. Josh Duhamel is directing and starring in it alongside WWE Superstar Sheamus. Olivia Munn is added to the cast alongside Dax Shepard and Kevin Dillon.
