The Rock Films Shoot-Out Outside Rogers Arena (VIDEO)

While Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson may not be from Vancouver, he does hold a dual-citizenship and fans in the city adore him.

He’s gained a growing popularity amongst fans throughout Metro Vancouver for his extremely amicable nature and million dollar smile. While it may be difficult to meet most stars who film in the city, he is more than happy to meet fans, even after a long day on set.

After filming in Surrey on his latest feature, Skyscraper, the gentle giant moved downtown to shoot the final scenes.

A video posted by the People’s Champ on Instagram shows the action-star in the midst of tense shoot-out.

345am. Man on the run. Day 47 of 64 shooting our action thriller #SkyscraperMovie. Shot big sequences tonight requiring lots of moving parts. THANK YOU to the hundreds of extras putting in the hard work. Fear and terror are never fun emotions to play with – especially for 10hrs straight. Thanks again and great work.
