The CFIA Is Recalling A Popular Burger Brand Sold Across Canada

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has just issued a recall for a popular brand of burgers that were sold in Canada. According to the notice, consumers are asked to “not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.”

The recall involves Compliments brand Smashed 100% Chicken Burgers. The notice explains that the product is being recalled due to it containing undeclared egg. Although, it does not list if there were any incidents associated with the consumption of the product.

Being a Class II recall, “there is a moderate risk that consuming the food may lead to short-term or non-life threatening health problems.”
