CSIS Is Hiring In B.C. With Jobs That Pay Up To $83,000 And Don’t Require A Degree

The Canadian Security Intelligence Agency (CSIS) is hiring all across Canada right now, with some great B.C. positions that don’t require you to have a degree. As long as you’ve got the experience and the skills, you are welcome to apply.

CSIS is Canada’s federal intelligence agency that investigates activities that are related to national security, working toward “tak[ing] measures to reduce threats to the security of Canada.”

As for what they’re hiring for right now, they’re looking for applicants with administrative and HR experience. While a university degree is one of the suggested requirements, you can also have a combination of relevant education, training, and experience in place of a degree.

Administrative Officer

Administrative Officers are responsible for coordinating and planning various administrative activities. They also provide administrative services and advice related to a number of fields listed on the CSIS application page.

CSIS asks that applicants have either a university certificate or a college diploma with two years of experience. You may also have a high school diploma and four years of experience. Having provided admin support, planning and coordinating admin activities, as well as dealing with managers and employees at all levels are integral skills that will help in your application.

This is an entry-level, Burnaby-based position that pays from $68,552 to $83,389. The application period closes on January 15, 2026.

Human Resources Assistant

Human Resources Assistants monitor the progress of recruitment processes, maintain contact with applicants, schedule interviews, and also administer psychological/written tests, among many other responsibilities.

CSIS asks that applicants have either a university certificate or a college diploma. An acceptable combination of relevant education, training, and experience may be considered, as well. Experience in human resources or administration where planning, organizing, and coordinating activities or actions are required.

This is an entry-level, Burnaby-based position that pays from $68,552 to $83,389. The application period closes on January 15, 2026.
