The recall concerns Kirkland Signature brand Extra Strength Ibuprofen Liquid Gel Capsules. Health Canada notes the issue as a “presence of cloudy capsules in affected lots due to crystallization of ibuprofen into the gelatin shell.”

Health Canada recommends consumers to verify if their product is affected. If so, they should then consult their healthcare provider prior to discontinuing use of the affected product, or for any health concerns. Any health product related side effects– as well as any health product safety complaints– should be reported to Health Canada.
