There was a plethora of Hollywood productions filming in Vancouver last year, yet less than a handful that really had the public’s attention.
In addition to Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool, Skyscraper was the talk of the town during the summer primarily due to the film’s star actor: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
The Canadian citizen (yes really) made a splash in Vancouver by sharing heartfelt moments on social media, as well as meeting and greeting fans during countless occasions.
Perhaps one of the most memorable moments was when Mayor Gregor Robertson proclaimed __ as “The Rock Day” in Vancouver.
Excluding The Rock’s electrifying moments, there wasn’t much known about the project that brought him to the city. Producers did a great job keeping majority of it under wraps but we’ll finally get a chance to get a sneak peek this Sunday.
Ahead of hitting the big screens this summer, Skyscraper’s first trailer will be aired as a commercial during the Super Bowl.
We’re all willing to sacrifice it all when it comes to protecting our families.
Here’s the first look at our original concept film, #SKYSCRAPER.

This will be the first time we get a glimpse of the movie, and more importantly our city in the background. Hopefully we’ll also get an idea of what was going on outside Rogers Arena when Skyscraper blocked out the area for a massive scene.
Skyscraper also stars Neve Campbell, Pablo Schreiber, Byron Mann, Hannah Quinlivan, Noah Taylor, and Chin Han.
For those who can’t wait until Sunday, you can watch a teaser of the trailer below:

If you still haven’t secured a spot to watch the big game, here’s 17 restaurants in Vancouver hosting Super Bowl viewings.
