Street Closures For Ryan Reynold’s Feature
While fans are thrilled that the star is filming in Vancouver, many people weren’t quite as elated about the number of street closures. Filming takes place from 6am until 9pm, so use of any of the closed streets was pretty much a write off. The closed streets include West Hastings between Howe and Bute and Thurlow Street between West Pender and West Cordova. There was also intermittent traffic control on Burrard between West Pender and West Cordova as well as on Hornby Street between West Pender and West Hastings.
The original installment in the Deadpool franchise was the highest grossing R-rated filmed of all time . It raked in an a whopping $783.1 million dollars worldwide.
