While many stars are in Vancouver filming movies and television shows, there are few that are as beloved by fans as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

The charismatic superstar was greeted by a group of adoring followers outside of Surrey city hall after he finished a long day on set of his latest feature film, Skyscraper.

The Rock Greets Adoring Fans

The adored icon was still in full make-up from filming when he posed with the group on Saturday, October 14th in some pictures and videos.

The Rock has established himself as one of the friendliest, easiest to mingle with celebrities in the city as he always makes time for his many fans. He recently appeared in a video where he open voiced his love for the citywhich was a a sharp contrast to Riverdale’s KJ Apa, who said that he found it rather boring.

He also posted an adorable shout-out to rain-couver on Instagram today saying a warm thank you to Surrey Mayor Linda Hepner for opening the city to filming. He finished his video with a charming statement “Now where the hell is my tough guy macchiato pumpkin spice latte?”

THANK YOU, Mayor Linda Hepner and her entire staff for the warm “We ❤️ DJ” welcome to your city. And thank you, British Columbia/Canada for welcoming me like a son. On a personal growth note, years ago this province served as catalyst for a defining time in my life when I was cut from the CFL and my dreams of eventually making it to the NFL were over. I didn’t understand the value of it then, but I certainly do today – making the CFL/NFL was the best thing that never happened. Remember that when life kicks our asses and crushes our plans. Have faith because sometimes that goal might be the best thing that never happened. Now where the hell is my tough guy macchiato pumpkin spice latte? #SkyscraperMovie #Surrey #Vancouver 🇨🇦
