Summer is ending however there are still plenty of things to do that will send it off with a bang.

Enjoy The Fair At The PNE – Closes September 6

The Fair at the PNE has been in full-swing. There are lots of concerts, along with the prize home, ample rides, and fun games, this fair is a traditional summer must do. And no part of the annual fair is complete without eating at least one mini-donut or trying some of their other delicious food items.
Visit the Chilliwack Sunflower Festival – Closes September 6

The Chilliwack sunflower fest has has 5 to 8 acres in full blooms all season. Enjoy the 42 different varieties of sunflowers and 3km of paths to run amongst the blooms until September 6.
Play Boozy Grey Goose Mini Golf – Closes September 6

Grey Goose is hosting a pop-up mini golf event where you can experience a beautifully designed course inspired by the vodka brand. Not only do you get 9 holes of mini golf but you take away a soda cocktail as well.
Go For A Swim At Kitsilano Pool – Closes September 6

As summer comes to an end, so does the outdoor pools. If you haven’t had a chance yet to take a dip at one of Vancouver’s most scenic pools, this week will be your last chance for the season. The pool is open daily, but please note that reservations can be made online or in person.
Enjoy Regular Playland Days – Closes September 12

Although the PNE Fair is ending this long weekend, the amusement park Playland will remain open. At least for a little bit longer. The rides and park will officially close on September 12, until then you can get a bit of a thrill of summer park fun.
Enjoy Shipyard Nights in North Vancouver – Closes September 18

Shipyards Live was a brand new summer series with 16 days of excitement that started on Friday July 30. On every Friday and Saturday until September 18, the fun continues. The cost for the event is totally free, and festivities will take place throughout the day until 10 pm each night.
The Richmond Night Market – Dates now Extended till Sept 19

The Richmond Night Market officially opened on July 23rd, and has been on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7 pm to 12 am. It was originally going to close after September 6, however it has now been extended till September 19. You will need to purchase tickets online through their app to check it out. There are vendor stalls as well as a bunch of new foods to try.
Outdoor Movies – Ends Throughout September

Fresh Air Cinema had brought back free outdoor movies this summer at the Landsdowne Centre parking lot. There is a long list of blockbusters airing every Thursday at sundown until September 16, 2021. If this isn’t in your area, there are also a series of other cities hosting outdoor movie nights through to mid September.
Get Mesmerized at Imagine Van Gogh – Dates now extended

The Imagine Van Gogh exhibit has been a popular spot for many since it launched earlier this year. Tickets has sold out multiple times, with dates being extended once again. It was slated to close on September 6 but if you haven’t seen it yet, you are in luck it has now been extended to October 15. Here is a look inside.
