no name Beef Burgers
The recall concerns no name brand Beef Burgers, which the CFIA say is being removed from the market due to potential E.coli O157:H7 contamination.

While food contaminated with E.coli O157:H7 may not look or smell spoiled, it can still make you sick. Possible symptoms include nausea, vomiting, mild to severe abdominal cramps and water to bloody diarrhea. More severe cases of illness can lead to seizures or strokes, as well as the need for blood transfusions and kidney dialysis. Some people may also have permanent kidney damage.
In further severe cases of illness, people may die.

If you think you have become sick from consuming a recalled product, the CFIA advises you to contact your healthcare provider. Recalled products should also be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased.
As of January 12, 2026, there have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of the affected product.
