McDonald's Spicy Chipotle Fries

Is chipotle spice the pumpkin spice of Winter? McDonald’s Canada is adding limited-time only Spicy Chipotle Fries to its menu for the holidays.

According to McDonald’s Canada, these Spicy Chipotle fries are drizzled with butter and then sprinkled with seasoning made from black pepper, cumin, coriander, oregano, paprika, and chipotle chili pepper.

At the moment, this “holiday treat” will only be available in one size, a 121 g service that runs about 420 calories.

This is not the first time McDonald’s has introduced special limited-time only fries. In 2017, they introduced Parmesan Garlic fries for the holidays.

McDonald’s fries are a fast-food staple, so surely these won’t be particularly controversial. This comes after McDonald’s moved into the fast-food donut game this summer, with their McCafe donuts.

Earlier this summer, they also revamped some of their classic burgers, including the Big Mac. (There are also signs that McDonald’s will be moving into the Beyond Meat market, too.)

If you’re going to go try these fries out, don’t forget to take advantage of their ongoing $1 and $2 McCafe coffee deal.
