Canada’s most popular restaurant chain Tim Hortons has a new competitor in the donut market, as McDonald’s Canada has announced that it’s now selling donuts across select Canadian locations.
According to Red Flag Deals, these new McCafe donuts will be available for $1.19 each. Customers can also get two for $1.99, or six for $5.99.

At the moment, McDonald’s Canada is testing five donuts:
- Apple Fritter,
- Strawberry Jelly Powdered
- Boston Cream
- Sprinkle
- Maple Iced and Caramel Filled
It’s still unclear which locations in Canada will be selling these donuts, but there’s only one way to find out! And while you’re there, you might also want to try out their new and improved burgers.
Earlier this summer, Tim Hortons introduced burgers to their menus. Could this be a response from McDonald’s? Do we have a fast food war on our hands? Which one these fast food spots will be the first to start selling pizza?
