There’s a lot of cool things you can do in Vancouver, and this definitely adds to the list.
The Vancouver Aquarium is one of the must-do activities in our city, but not everyone has the time (or money) to visit the mini marine world often. Fortunately, technology is lending a helping hand once again and allowing us to catch all the excitement on our smart-phones, tablets and computers!
The Vancouver Aquarium threw open its digital doors this week with enhancements to its web cam program, which allows guests to virtually watch an otter at feeding time or admire a whale making its rounds.
The live web cams have been around the Aquarium since 2001 but the new designs allow viewers to take a look inside different habitats any time of the day! The four habitats will include penguins, sea otters, jellyfish and beluga whales!
