Costco Recall: Ice Cream
The recall concerns Desi-Licious Kulfi brand Ice Cream Sticks. Sold between October 17, 2024 and December 2, 2025, these ice cream sticks are believed to be contaminated with Salmonella, which can make people quite sick.
While food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled, it can still result in serious illness– especially in those with weakened immune systems, young children, pregnant women, and the elderly. These infections can sometimes be deadly. In healthy people, they may also experience symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea. Long-term complications may include arthritis. If you think you have been affected by Salmonella, you are advised to contact your heath-care provider.

The impacted lot codes can be found on the front of the package, above the best before date. They include: 4283, 4284, 4297, 4303, 4304, 4305, 4306, 4310, 5126, 5127, 5130, 5132, 5134, 5136, 5140, 5143, 5148, 5149, 5157, 5168 and 5169.
Costco is advising consumers to not consume, serve, use, sell, or distribute the affected products. They can be returned to a Costco warehouse for a full refund.
