According to a statement from ICBC’s Public Affairs department, the issue involves “criminal harassment by an individual not affiliated with ICBC.”
ICBC Road Test Cancellations
The ICBC in question is its Fort St. John location. Since the company is taking steps to “ensure the safety of ICBC employees and customers”, it has decided to cancel all road tests from December 1, 2025 and onward. Future tests are currently unavailable for booking as of now.
“We recognize the significant impact this disruption may have and sincerely regret the inconvenience it will cause,” says the ICBC statement. “We are working diligently with police and local partners to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.”

In total, 236 tests were cancelled. This includes tests for passenger and commercial vehicles.
For customers looking to re-book a road test, they will have to do it at an alternate ICBC testing location. “Winter months traditionally see lower appointment volumes, and we encourage customers to explore availability in neighbouring communities.”
Some nearby communities that offer ICBC tests include Dawson Creek, Hudson’s Hope, and Chetwynd. You can find all the booking information here.
