Canyon Frights at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
Capilano Suspension Bridge Park transforms into a Halloween playground with glowing lights, pumpkins, graveyards, giant spiders and spooky surprises hidden throughout the rainforest. There will also be family games, a scavenger hunt and live entertainment each evening.

Halloween Howl at Kitsilano Community Centre
Kitsilano Community Centre has officially added its annual Halloween Howl to the fall 2026 schedule. It’s a family event happening the weekend before Halloween and makes an easy neighbourhood option if you don’t want to spend the entire day at a large attraction.

Spooktacular Halloween at Wesbrook Community Centre
Wesbrook Community Centre is bringing back its Spooktacular Halloween with a haunted house, costume contest, games, activities and plenty of candy. It’s another good option for families looking for something right before Halloween without heading to a large commercial attraction.

Halloween Festival of Frights at Douglas Park
Dress up and spend Halloween morning playing games, making crafts and collecting treats at Douglas Park Community Centre. The event is designed for children up to age eight, making this one especially nice for families with younger little ones.

Halloween Spooktacular at the Roundhouse
The Roundhouse is turning its Exhibition Hall into an indoor Halloween walkthrough filled with ghosts, skeletons and other spooky surprises. Registered children also receive a treat bag and photobooth print, and the experience is recommended mainly for ages four to 12.

One of the more unique Halloween traditions in Vancouver, the Parade of Little Souls lets families dress up and join a whimsical procession through East Vancouver before the larger Parade of Lost Souls gets underway. There are also costume-making open houses leading up to Halloween.

Haunted Village at Burnaby Village Museum

Burnaby Village Museum gets a spooky makeover with dramatic lighting, a haunted graveyard, spooky circus, themed shops, Halloween treats and DJ Drac. It’s designed to be more playful than terrifying, without the blood and gore you would expect from an adult haunted house.

Laity Pumpkin Patch

Laity Pumpkin Patch has now officially confirmed its 2026 season, with both its North and South locations opening September 26. The North patch is geared mainly toward children ages zero to six, while the South location is designed for families with older children.

Halloween Craft Saturdays at Mackin House Museum
Mackin House Museum is adding some Halloween fun throughout October with free craft and colouring activities on Saturdays. It’s a simple indoor stop that can easily be paired with another fall outing in Coquitlam.

Phantasmagoria Nights at Mackin House

The Great Pumpkin Carve
