Some major changes are coming to Costco Canada very soon. With the holiday season ramping up to its peak, you might notice some permanent adjustments to their hours from here on out.
Costco Canada Hours
We recently reported on Costco Canada changing their standard hours to fit the upcoming holiday schedule. For some, this change is more than welcome as they pick up all those last-minute gifts and preparations for soon-to-come dinner parties. Either way, Costco’s hours will be increasing during certain days for the holidays, with other days being closed, like on Christmas. They look like this:
- December 15 – 19: 8:00am – 8:30pm
- December 20 – 21: 8:00am – 7:00pm
- December 22 – 23: 8:00am – 8:30pm
- December 24: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Closed Christmas Day
- Boxing Day: 9:00am – 8:30pm
- December 31: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Closed New Year’s Day
Permanent Changes
Excitingly, the retail giant also announced that these holiday hours would become permanent even after the hectic celebration season.
“Our holiday shopping hours are now permanent!” said Costco Canada on social media.

The warehouses’ weekday hours will remain unchanged, but weekend hours will be shifting to be open for an extra hour. Costco Canada was previously open from 9:00am to 6:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays, but that will now move over to 7:00pm.
Whether you’re using that time to get groceries, shop for final gifts, or grabbing something to eat, you’ll have even more time to shop at Costco when the weekend rolls around.
