Waterslides are not super unique. Cultus Lake Waterpark by itself has 18 of them.
One of those 18 stands out, however, and it goes by the name “Colossal Canyon.”
And no, it’s not your typical waterslide.

For starters, it boasts the title of Western Canada’s biggest and tallest Waterslide.
Destination Cultus describes the Colossal Canyon as a state-of-the-art water attraction. Each raft has a seating capacity of 5 people, or 4 adults. The ride starts at an elevation of 75 ft and twists and winds its way through the trees for approximately 700 ft.

You know that scene in that movie where the protagonist of the story falls into a river and is taken away by the fast-moving current and they’re just holding onto dear life? Colossal Canyon is kind of like that. Without the real-life danger, of course.

Check it out at Cultus Lake Waterpark at Destination Cultus, open from now until early September.
