For 2025, they named the “Elite 15” in Asia (with 50 Honourees) and “Elite 30” in Canada (with 50 Honourees). At the top of Canada’s list, there are a fair number in Vancouver and Richmond, which is arguably Metro Vancouver’s main Chinese food hub.
The Best Chinese Restaurant In Canada (According to the Elite 30)
So, what’s the best Chinese restaurant?
According to the Chinese Restaurant Awards, that coveted title goes to Dynasty Seafood Restaurant in Vancouver. If you’re looking for the ultimate Cantonese food experience, this is the place to be with owner Alfred Yeung at the helm. Dynasty Seafood Restaurant is well-known for its spectacular seafood and time-honoured dishes, highlighting the delicious cultural connection that dim sum has in Chinese cuisine.

In second place is another Vancouver favourite– Chang’An Restaurant, which focuses on Shaanxi/Xi’an cuisine. Among other winners are Landmark Hotpot House (Vancouver), Sea Harbour Seafood Restaurant (Richmond), and Bamboo Grove (Richmond).
