While it may only be a light dusting, a Whistler webcam shows snowfall on the ground at 7th heaven.

For now, the Roundhouse webcam, located at the base of the gondola, doesn’t show any snowfall. As a result, alpine enthusiasts shouldn’t get overly excited; however, the early dusting could be indicative of an early start to the season.

Right now, the season is set to open on November 22nd. With that being said, it opened early last year, and the roundhouse image showed a large dumping of snowfall on September 18th, 2017.

As of September 11th at 11:00 am, the 7th Heaven webcam shows a great deal of fog, but snow is still visible on the ground.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to brave the Whistler Suspension Bridge this year, you’ll want to venture out soon.

The mountain will close the exciting new feature on September 16th, and it won’t open again until 2019.
