Vancouver-based Executive Search Dating agrees with the survey findings but says women in Vancouver should indeed be picky when messaging men online. With plenty of fish out there, the math points to lower odds of meeting quality people.

- Someone who’s “normal”
- Someone who “has their life together” and is “in control of their life”
- Someone who’s a “take charge man” and “takes the first step”
- Someone’s who’s “relationship potential”
