Two members of the Vancouver Fire and Rescue are heading to to Texas to participate in the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
Captain Jonathan Gormick says the opportunity is an invaluable learning experience for the entire team. The special training that they will receive from witnessing crisis management on a disaster of this magnitude could come in handy if Vancouver ever experiences a similar catastrophe.
