Vancouver’s newest playground in Creekside Park will bring out your inner child.
The Vancouver Park Board opened the city’s largest playground, at over 1,700-square-metres.
Not only is it the largest playground of its kind in the city, but it’s also very accessible. It’s situated in the 2.53-hectare Creekside Park, which is adjacent to Science World.

One of the playground’s most exciting features is a 22-metre-long zipline. It also includes a giant tube slide, swings, a climbing tower, play hut, musical instruments and a sand play area.

The playground cost $900,000 to build and includes a lot of green space with lush trees, seating areas and places to set up a picnic.
Additional playgrounds are expected to open soon, including ones at Clark Park and Douglas Park.
