Can you smell what The Rock is cooking?!
On Friday morning, Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson sent out a tweet that raised more than a few eyebrows.

Official Proclamation
October 19 has been named Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Day in Vancouver. In the official proclamation, a number of reasons such as charity work, his iconic fanny pack, and the fact that his “professional football career started and ended in Vancouver” were listed.
Furthermore, the proclamation states “yes, we do smell what The Rock is cookin’.”
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Day was on Thursday, but the public only found out about it via the Mayor’s tweet the following day.
The City of Vancouver says that the Mayor delivered the proclamation as a surprise Thursday night and wanted to share that special moment with The Rock.
Looks like we’ll all have to wait till next year to officially celebrate Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Day in Vancouver.
