Seth Rogen and childhood friend Evan Goldberg now have their very own weed company.
The duo have officially launched Houseplant, a new brand of recreational Canadian cannabis in collaboration with Canopy Growth (TSX:WEED, NYSE:CGC), a global cannabis and hemp company.

“Houseplant is a passion we’ve brought to life through drive and dedication,” said Seth Rogen, Co-Founder of Houseplant.
“Every decision we’ve made for the business reflects the years of education, first-hand experience and respect we have for cannabis”.
Goldberg is excited to launch their new company in Canada.
“We are so proud to be launching in Canada, our home,” said Evan Goldberg, Co-Founder of Houseplant.

Houseplant highlights that their products are grown in the best facilities where experts carefully oversee each plant’s growth. They hope to appeal to both expert and new users.
In the coming months, the company will be launching three strains of weed – Houseplant Sativa, Houseplant Hybrid, and Houseplant Indica.
Their first strain, Houseplant Sativa, is already available to purchase on the BC Cannabis Stores website. It’ll also be available at provincially regulated retailers.
After exploring the Vancouver food scene and being chosen to do TransLink’s voice announcements, Seth Rogen is ready to conquer the cannabis industry.
