Dashcam footage of a “fender bender car crash” has emerged on YouTube, which shows a Vancouver jaywalker limping and suffering on a sidewalk, after he allegedly got hit by a car.
In the video below, a pedestrian wearing blue jeans and a white and yellow jacket is shown limping to the sidewalk on Kingsway and Main during a rainy night. Both the driver and passenger of the vehicle involved are shown getting out of the car and attending to the injured man, along with other nearby pedestrians.
While it’s hard to make out exactly what happened, YouTube users are quickly jumping to the defense of the driver.
“The proper cross walk was 5 feet away…” points out one YouTube user, while another adds “Looks like insurance fraud. I hope you provided the video to ICBC and VPD”.
Needless to say, it’s a good idea to get a dashcam installed in your vehicle, as you never know what may happen..
