A lot people were saddened to hear that the iconic Splashdown Park would be permanently closing their doors after the Labour Day long weekend in 2016.
Splashdown Park was the only true waterslide park in Greater Vancouver and is a part of many Metro Vancouverites most cherished childhood memories.
Located at 4775 Nu Lelum Way in Tsawwassen, the 7-acre waterslide park’s lease came to an end in 2016.
Take a look at how the park has changed over the last 33 years, since its grand opening on Canada Day in 1984.
