
The brand new and state of the art Grandview Aquatics Centre in South Surrey is completed and now open to the public.
The City of Surrey began allocating money towards the project back in 2011, finalizing on a $55 million budget. The facility was expected to open in January but opened March 3rd after all testing was complete. And yes, engineers tested the waterslide.

This time last year, the Guildford Recreation Centre in North Surrey opened its new aquatics centre which features an 8-lane Olympic-sized pool. The enhancement also aligned with other renovations of the town centre with a major expansion to the mall next door, Guildford Town Centre.
