Pump the brakes, because the biggest single-day price-drop in gas prices is expected to hit Metro Vancouver today.
According to Dan McTeague, a former MP that’s also known as the Gas Price Wizard, a drop of 10 cents per litre is expected today.
⛽️ Price ⚠️: #Vancouver and the Lower Mainland to 👀 a net 10 CENT A LITRE DROP @ the ⛽️⛽️ Thursday. This is the biggest single day drop in over a decade for SW BC

Prices at the pumps for a litre of regular will hover around 143.9/litre today.
Accordingly, gas prices spotted in Vancouver yesterday were closer to that of 153.9/litre.
We said “pump the brakes”, but maybe we should’ve said “pedal to the metal” (safely, of course).
Have a great day, Vancouver!
