Costco Canada is issuing an urgent recall due to ‘potentially life-threatening‘ ingredients in a dessert distributed at the warehouses. The wholesaler is advising consumers on the next steps, as well as what to do with the product itself in order to obtain a full refund.

Costco Canada Recall: Delici Dubai Chocolate Mousse
The recall concerns Mellow Food brand Delici Dubai Chocolate Mousse products sold in Costco warehouses.
According to the notice, “Mellow Food is voluntarily recalling certain lot codes of the Delici Dubai Style chocolate mousse due to the possible presence of CASHEW NUTS and MACADAMIA NUTS that are not declared on the label.”
“These allergens may cause severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.”
Mellow Food is asking consumers to not eat the recalled products if they have an allergy or sensitivity to cashew nuts or macadamia nuts. To obtain a full refund, consumers can return the Delici Dubai Chocolate Mousse products to a Costco Warehouse.
