The Most Expensive Homes In B.C. Have Been Revealed And Vancouver Tops The List

B.C.’s highest valued homes have just been revealed by BC Assessment, and you may recognize one very expensive address on their list.

Wondering what’s at the top of the agency’s annual list of the province’s top 500 most-valuable homes? You may or may not be surprised at the owner— but most likely not.

B.C.’s Top 5 Highest Valued Homes

5. 4719 Belmont Ave., Vancouver: $40,600,000

Starting at the lowest end is a single family residential property located in Point Grey. This home is located on a 60,000-sq. ft. lot, sized at 18,000-sq. ft. and valued at $40,600,000. While still quite highly-priced, it actually dropped 6.5% in value from its former $43,390,000 assessment.

4. 4743 Belmont. Ave, Vancouver: $42,514,000

Just ahead of 4719 Belmont Ave. is 4773 Belmont Ave., also located in Point Grey. It is similarly a single family residential property, and was the one-time home of Joseph and Rosalie Segal, the philanthropists. It was sold back in 2021 for $42 million, and dropped 4% in value from its previous assessment.

3. James Island: $57,096,000

The only non-single family residential property in the top 5, James Island is located just off Sidney on Vancouver Island, and its value increased by less than 1%, according to BC Assessment. Its property type is listed as an acreage in the Inner Islands neighbourhood.

2. 4707 Belmont Ave., Vancouver: $68,878,000

Another Belmont Ave. property has made the list, and this time in second place. This Point Grey single family residential property is valued at a whopping $69,878,000, although it fell by 3% from its 2024 assessment.

Valued at the astronomical price tag of $73,457,000 is Lululemon founder Chip Wilson’s mansion. Located in Kitsilano, this single family residential property is once again sitting at the top of BC Assessment’s most valuable homes’ list. The waterfront estate is almost 15,700-sq.-ft., with seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. It was previously assessed at $82,664,000 in 2025, and has fallen approximately 11% for its 2026 assessment of $73,457,000.
