If you’ve been wanting to adopt a pet, now is the time, because pet adoptions at the BC SPCA will be half-price later this week.
This province-wide adoption sale is on November 9. Potential pet owners will pay half the regular adoption price as well as half the B.C. pet registry fee.
“This adoption event was such a success last year that each of our 36 adoption facilities are eager to find loving homes for animals in our care,” says Mark Takhar, BC SPCA’s chief operations officer.
When the SPCA holds the annual Fall Head Over Tails in Love event, the organization are making room for many more needy animals to come into their care, said Takhar.
In 2018, the B.C. SPCA adopted out 14,000 animals, with 212 coming from last year’s event.
The event includes not just cats and dogs, but also rats and guinea pigs.
You can find your furry companion in one of the SPCA locations, or even check out their website.
