Someone in B.C. was feeling pretty lucky the other night. With their Lotto Max ticket matching all the numbers, they’ve just claimed the massive $31 million lottery jackpot, making their life a whole lot richer.
LOTTO MAX WINNER
Tuesday’s Lotto Max draw has brought some major riches to one lucky person in B.C. The numbers pulled were 08, 09, 23, 30, 38, 40, 43, and the bonus number 41, with the grand prize winner matching seven out of seven numbers to net those jackpot dollars. Although, no one matched six out of seven of the numbers– with the bonus– to get the second place prize of $156,668.10.
36 other tickets matched six out of seven of the numbers of win $4,351.90 each, so Canada definitely had a few more winners than just the grand prize.
OTHER BIG WINNERS
But that $31 million wasn’t even the biggest win of 2025’s Lotto Max draws. This summer, one extremely lucky Surrey man netted B.C.’s biggest lottery jackpot win ever, gaining him $80 million. Similarly, a Vancouver man won $40 million after nearly forgetting to check his tickets.
A Richmond resident also banked $1 million after winning September 5th’s Lotto Max Draw, with his son who asked him a funny request right after finding out about the massive prize.
If you’re looking to get a ticket, draws are done twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays after 7:30pm. There’s still plenty of time to see if you’re B.C.’s next Lotto Max winner.
