Development is currently underway for some very tall high-rises in Burnaby
Approved by Burnaby City Council, development is currently underway for four massive high-rises, with one being not just be the tallest in the city, but all of Western Canada.
TALLEST HIGH-RISES IN BURNABY
Developed by Vancouver-based developer Pinnacle International, Pinnacle Lougheed plans to be a collection of four towers that range from a 50-storey building to an 80-storey tower that reaches 850 feet. That means the development’s tallest tower will be the highest in not just B.C., but in Western Canada.
Altogether, Pinnacle Lougheed will provide 2,822 homes and 1,033,128 sq. ft. of commercial space. There will also be a fitness centre, yoga studio, and an indoor swimming pool, as well as lounges, party rooms, and co-working spaces. And if you’ve got kids, they can keep busy in the provided children’s playroom.

For those nicer months, people can also enjoy rooftop amenities like their outdoor kitchen, al fresco dining areas, and scenic lounges with those top-tier cityscape views.
LOCATION, LOCATION
The towers will be located at 9850 Austin Road and 9858-9898 Gatineau Place. Positioned near public transit, the towers offer constant convenience. Everything you could ever need will be within 15 minutes of you, and that’s whether you’re walking, biking, or taking the bus.
The nearby transit will provide an excellent way to get around Metro Vancouver, and let you veer away from sitting in traffic for long stretches. Moreover, Pinnacle Lougheed will be located near plenty of shops and parks to keep you busy when you’re out and about.
WHEN WILL THE TOWERS BE COMPLETE?
Pinnacle Lougheed will be completed in three different phases. Phase 1, which comprises Towers 1A and 1B, are in their early presale stages.
Although there are no exact dates for completion, interested people can register their interest to keep updated with the towers’ development.
