Best Places To Watch The Celebration Of Light Fireworks

English Bay Beach
By far the most popular (and crowded) spot to take in the fireworks. Bring some friends, a blanket, and set up early here to nab a spot!
Vanier Park
Right across from English Bay, Vanier Park is a good option to avoid the downtown traffic but have a nice spot to picnic while enjoying the fireworks show.
Kits Beach
Just west of Vanier Park and adjacent to English Bay. The beach is the perfect spot to watch the fireworks without having to go right downtown.

High-Rise Apartment
If you’re lucky enough to live in the West End area (or have friends that do) then this is the perfect option for you. What could beat a more private fireworks show?

Second Beach
The beach will have a family-friendly zone and offers a partially obstructed view of the lower fireworks when it’s less crowded.
Burrard Bridge
Maybe not your first choice, but will give you an awesome view. Make sure to get closest to the center of the north bridge facing English Bay to get the best possible spot.

Granville Bridge
It’s a bit further away but yet another option to marvel at the celebration of light fireworks.
On a Boat
Get a front-row seat by renting out a boat and floating along while soaking up the vibrant colours light up the night sky.
Sunset Beach
Situated just off English Bay Beach, this is a great alternative, as it won’t be as crowded.

YVR Observation Deck
It’s $50, but if you want to avoid crowds and have a designated seat for the show then this is the best option out there.
Rooftop Patio
Check out the rooftop patio at the Boathouse in Kits for an epic view of the fireworks. Also, there’s always the second floor patio at Cactus Club’s English Bay location.
