Hot off the success of Vancouverite Paras Atashnak’s big win on Big Brother Canada Season 6, the three contestants from British Columbia competing in the seventh season of the reality game show are hoping to replicate a big “W”, the $100,000 grand prize and of course bragging rights.
Season 7 premiered on March 6 and it’s already been a week of twists, surprises and blindsides. The three contestants representing BC this time around include a goalie coach, a civil technician and a bartender. This season has a spy and secret agent theme to it.
28-year-old former hockey pro and current goalie coach Damien Keit, from Nadleh Whut’en, BC received the first twist of the season thanks to viewer votes before even entering the BB HQ house. He got the advantage of spying on house guests as they made their grand entrance and turned on their strategy faces. Ironically he also got nominated for eviction, in a week without a veto competition, but wasn’t the one to go home.
