While there are many beautiful parks and forests in British Columbia, Vancouver Island holds some of the most spectacular natural settings in the province.
For example, Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park has a gorgeous triple tumbling waterfall, and Juan de Fuca Provincial Park has a magical oceanside swing at the end of a hike through an ancient rainforest.
However, what really tops that list is the Strathcona Provincial Park. It is the oldest and largest park in BC, and also one of the most breathtaking parks in Canada.

However, the falls can only be accessed via helicopter or by boat. Most visitors would travel along on the road to the lake, make it across and then camp in the area before hiking 15 km to the falls.
The trip is definitely worth it though, as the waterfall is beloved on social media because it is so breathtaking.
