One of Vancouver’s most anticipated summer attractions, the Queen Elizabeth Park zipline, made its official debut on Wednesday, July 1.
The temporary zipline setup in the city’s highest point allows guests to soar to new heights in celebration of the park’s 75th anniversary. Guests start at the Bloedel Conservatory and glide nearly 200 metres before finishing their journey near the Quarry Gardens.
Each trip costs $20 per ride, but is free for brides and grooms who come dressed in their wedding outfits. So far, over 3,000 tickets have been sold for the zipline.
The experience of soaring 190-metres over one of the world’s most beautiful parks will without doubt be a hot attraction this summer, and equally exciting as the giant 1,000 foot waterslide coming to North Vancouver in August.
