Vancouver Police are asking the public for their help in locating a dangerous sex offender.
Arrested in 2001 after committing a violent sexual assault, James Allan Pike has been serving a long term supervision order; however, he failed to return to his half-way house on Tuesday morning.
As a result, Corrections Canada has issued a Canada-wide warrant for his arrest.
Sex Offender Description
Pike is described as white, 5’8”, 160 lbs., has brown hair and blue eyes, and wears glasses. In addition, he was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and was carrying a large back pack.
Anyone who sees James Pike, or knows of his whereabouts, is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
