Look up! It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s R2-D2!?
Star Wars: The Force Awakens has collaborated with All Nippon Airways, Japan’s largest airline, to decorate two of its planes with characters from the highly anticipated film.
Two Boeing 767-300 planes have undergone a Star Wars makeover to feature R2-D2 and BB-8 (a new droid from Star Wars: The Force Awakens) on the exterior of the aircrafts.
Inside the dreamliner jet, and for the first time in history, all six Star Wars films will be apart of the in-flight entertainment for flyers to watch during international routes. Characters from the movie will also grace the planes headrest covers, napkins, and cups.
Among the two, the R2-D2 aircraft will land in Vancouver on Sunday, October 18, as a part of its debut flight from Tokyo to YVR.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters later this December.
