Now here’s a reason to raise your stein! Vancouver is about to get an awesome new Bavarian beer and food hall and it will have a sprawling rooftop patio.
Get ready because Prost Haus is opening their doors on May 2. They’ll be in the heart of downtown Vancouver, on 900 Granville Street (right above Dublin Calling).
It’s an exciting new addition to Vancouver’s nightlife scene and the Granville Entertainment District.
The rooftop bar and eatery will serve (you guessed it) Bavarian-inspired sips and bites. We’re talking beer, schnitzel, bratwurst and pretzels. But there’s going to be a whole lot more.
It’s the latest venture by MRG Group, who is also behind Dublin Calling, the Yale Saloon and Vogue Theatre.
“Our mission to offer a wide range of experiential concepts across Canada lead us to create this unique rooftop space,” says Matt Gibbons, President, The MRG Group. “It’s the perfect location for something different in the city. Prost Haus will bring Oktoberfest vibes all year-round to the Granville strip, making it your go-to spot for all kinds of fun, good food and drinks.”
Taking inspiration from Bavarian beer halls—the establishment will feature long tables for communal dining. Guests will be greeted by staff members wearing traditional lederhosen.
They will have beer from all around the world, chilled to perfection and served in stein horns. After the libations, enjoy a variety of games including: oversized Jenga, shuffle-board, bean bag toss and what they’re calling the world’s largest shot-ski.
