Marc Emery has made a name for himself as being the “Prince of Pot.”
But he seems to have landed himself in some hot water recently.
The cannabis activist and his wife, Jodie, were arrested at the Toronto Pearson International Airport on Wednesday. The couple were on their way to a pot festival in Spain.

They are allegedly being charged with trafficking cannabis. But Toronto police haven’t released many details regarding their arrests yet.
As a result, 11 search warrants were implemented at pot shops across Canada. The locations being raided include: Vancouver, Hamilton and Toronto. The Emery’s ‘Cannabis Culture’ shop in Vancouver is located on West Hastings.
Police also raided four private residences in Vancouver, Stoney Creek and Toronto.
The Emery’s run about a dozen shops across Canada.
