Police Looking For Sexual Assault Suspect Who Groped a Female Jogger

Surrey RCMP are asking for the public’s help to identify a sexual assault suspect.

On September 19th, a woman was groped by an unknown man as she was walking southbound on 124 Street, between 78 Avenue and 80 Avenue in Newtown just before 5:30 a.m.

As the suspect jogged past the woman, he touched her and then ran to a nearby vehicle to flee the scene.

The suspect is described as a South Asian male, 25-30 years old, 5’10” tall, wearing black jogging pants and a black hoodie with the hood up over his head.

His car is a dark coloured sedan. At this moment, the make and model has not been determined.
