Transit Police Need Help Finding Suspect Who Assaulted Two Teens On SkyTrain

Transit Police are looking to identify a suspect in an alleged assault that took place last month.

In a Facebook post that was published on Wednesday, police said the incident took place Thursday, October 4th at approximately 12:15 p.m.

The assault occurred on board a SkyTrain as it went from Moody Centre Station to Coquitlam Central Station.

The suspect became enraged when he believed the two victims, 14- and 16-year-old boys, had been staring at him. He allegedly “punched one of the teens causing bruising to his eye” and then “allegedly turned his attention to the other teen attempting to punch him, causing the teen’s head to hit the wall of the SkyTrain”.

The unidentified suspect proceeded to leave the train at Coquitlam Centre Station.

He’s described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • Slender/thin build
  • Black hair
  • Dark facial hair
  • Wearing black and grey hoodie, grey pants, runners and dark sunglasses
