Vancouver’s newest hot-spot, the world-class casino and resort called Parq Vancouver, opened its doors for the first time in September; however, one of its luxurious hotels, the Douglas, just unveiled three of its glamorous suites last week.

The Lobby
As soon as visitors step into the Douglas, they are greeted by a lush living wall that breathes fresh air into the space. The seamless integration of elegance and nature continues as guests are escorted to the sixth-floor check-in area, which is holds an incredible 25-foot replica Douglas fir tree encased in glass. The lobby is wood-paneled and features an intimate art gallery beside the front desk. Adjacent to the lobby is D/6 Bar & Lounge, an exquisitely furnished day-to-night space where guests can relax with a signature cocktail before stepping out onto the 30,000-square-foot park.
The Luxury Suites
The hotel’s luxury suites include Apt. 108, a modernist enclave that offers a tailored luxury experience; The Den, a youthful space whose quirky accoutrements pay homage to the past; and The Loft, eclectic with a sleek contemporary edge. Guests staying in these suites benefit from special added amenities.
