Yet another accolade for our city to be proud of. The Economist Intelligence Unit released its list of the most liveable cities in the world and Vancouver ranked sixth on the list.

Calgary finished just ahead of Vancouver at fifth, while Toronto finished in seventh place on the list.

The ranking “assesses which locations around the world provide the best or the worst living conditions”.

The list factors in challenges that an individual would face living in cities across the world. From here, each city is judged based on 30 qualitative and quantitative factors.

In addition, these qualities are based on five broad categories: Stability, Healthcare, Culture and Environment, Education and Infrastructure.

Below are the top ten ranked countries.
