It’s beginning to look a lot like a Vancouver Christmas, as the weather calls for light rain this weekend.

Friday will see the heaviest precipitation for the week, with up to 4 mm in the morning and 5 mm throughout the rest of the day.

Temperatures will sit between 6-8 degrees, according to the Weather Network.

By Saturday morning, it’ll be dry with clouds and about 5 degrees. Rain will roll in that afternoon, however. There will be up to 3 mm of rain during the afternoon, as well as the evening.

Sunday will have lighter rain again with up to 2 mm and stand at 4-7 degrees throughout the day.

Despite the consistent rain, our city has far less than Vancouver Island, which is seeing storms this week.

And if you’re planning on finishing your last minute shopping inside the malls, maybe the weather is just perfect. Besides, nothing says Vancouver winter like the rain!
