The Canada Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a recall for a number of frozen chicken products that were sold across Canada. The notice urges consumers to “not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected products.”

Chicken Products Under Recall in Canada
The recall involves Co-op Gold brand Frozen Chicken Products, including chicken burgers and chicken bites.
According to the notice, these products are being recalled due to undeclared egg. As a Class II recall, “there is a moderate risk that consuming the food may lead to short-term or non-life threatening health problems.” The notice does not mention if there have been any incidents or injury in Canada related to the affected products.
The products were sold across the country, including in Alberta, B.C., Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Yukon.
