Chances are if you like fried chicken—you’ve been to Juke Fried Chicken. But they have a new secret menu item that will blow your mind.
While it’s not actually listed on their menu (hence, secret) it’s called The Derek. The monstrous breakfast sandwich is named after a former staff member who used to eat the sandwich before his shift. It is definitely the best meal to fuel you up for the day, or put you in a food coma (most likely the latter).
The Derek is a fried chicken sandwich served on waffles topped with cheese sauce, an over easy egg, pickled cabbage and jalapeños for an added kick.
Besides this new ‘secret’ menu offering, they’ve added a couple other new dishes to their brunch line-up (available only at their Chinatown location).
They include: a banana caramel pancake topped off with peanut butter mousse, homemade jam and of course, banana caramel.
Or get a snack, with their scotch egg, which has ham hock mayo, chili and mixed pickles.
And if you want another secret item, they’ve added a new dish to their dinner menu—Cluck Off’ hot chicken wings. These are not for the faint of heart and are served with a house-made fermented habanero sauce.
